“The equipment is in production.”
That update may be reassuring the first time. It becomes less useful when your installation schedule is approaching and you still do not know what has been completed, what remains open or whether the delivery date is achievable.
For an overseas buyer, the difficulty is often not a lack of updates. It is a lack of information that supports decisions.
Progress should connect to milestones
A general percentage does not necessarily show whether the order is on track.
The main equipment may be nearly assembled while a purchased component is delayed. Fabrication may be progressing while a drawing approval is outstanding. Several suppliers may each be meeting their own schedules, but their equipment may not be ready together.
Useful production follow-up asks:
- Which milestones are complete?
- What is the next critical activity?
- Which materials, components or approvals are still outstanding?
- Are technical changes affecting work already underway?
- What could affect inspection or shipment readiness?
How G-LINK helps
We coordinate follow-up around the agreed production milestones and outstanding actions.
That includes communicating with manufacturers, tracking technical responses and documentation, and seeking progress evidence appropriate to the stage of manufacture.
Where several factories are involved, we bring their schedules together so that individual updates can be understood in the context of the overall delivery.
When an issue emerges, we work to clarify its likely impact and the available options. The purpose is to support an early decision—not simply pass on another revised date.
What this means for your team
You should not have to chase several factories and piece together the project status yourself.
