Supply & Delivery

Plan the Shipment, Not Just the Freight

Coordinate readiness, packing and delivery priorities as one plan.

Equipment shipment and loading preparation

One supplier is ready. Another needs two more weeks. A third has finished the equipment but has not confirmed the packed dimensions.

Should you ship separately, wait and consolidate, or change the packing arrangement?

There is rarely one answer that is best for every project.

The lowest freight rate may not mean the lowest total cost

Shipment planning connects factory readiness with installation priorities, packing, handling and vessel schedules.

A decision that saves freight may create storage costs or delay equipment needed first at site. A compact packing arrangement may improve container utilisation but increase disassembly, reassembly or lifting requirements.

Before booking, the practical questions include:

  • Which equipment is needed first?
  • Are packed dimensions and weights confirmed?
  • Can items be safely consolidated?
  • What lifting, securing and unloading arrangements are needed?
  • Are loose parts and accessories clearly identified?
  • Are the documents consistent with the shipment?

How G-LINK helps

We coordinate equipment readiness, packing information and shipping requirements across the suppliers involved.

We help compare practical shipment options against the customer’s timing and cost priorities, including consolidation where it makes sense. We also follow up on packing lists, shipping marks and the documents needed for the agreed delivery arrangement.

Where dismantling or special packing is proposed, we help clarify the implications before the decision is made—not after the equipment arrives.

What this means for your team

The aim is a delivery plan that works as a whole, rather than a collection of separate factory dispatches.

Let’s discuss your project

Have equipment coming from several Chinese factories? Share the delivery priorities with us, and we can help assess the coordination needed.
